Stainless steel reactor is a stainless steel container used for physical or chemical reactions. It is widely used in food, petroleum, chemicals, pesticides, medicine, dyes, etc. When purchasing reactor equipment, many customers will ask our business personnel, How long will reactor equipment last, and when do you need to replace it. For stainless steel reactors, they should be replaced once they reach the end of their service life to ensure normal operation. In addition, the equipment should be replaced if it is improperly maintained or damaged. The replacement standards can be referred to as follows.
1. The uniform corrosion of the wall thickness of the stainless steel reactor body exceeds the small value specified in the design;
2. Due to alkali brittleness or severe intergranular corrosion, cracks in the kettle body or weld cannot be repaired;
3. The local corrosion of the wall thickness of the kettle body exceeds the small value specified in the design, and the corrosion area is greater than 20% of the total area;
4. During the hydraulic test, the reactor has obvious deformation or the residual deformation exceeds the specified value;
5. Exceeding standard defects (such as: serious structural defects endangering safe operation; unqualified welds; serious lack of penetration, cracks, etc.) and cannot be repaired.
The stainless steel reactor meeting the above conditions can basically be replaced, otherwise it may affect the use effect of the reactor and reduce the work efficiency.
