The stirring position of stainless steel mixing tanks can be divided into: top centre, top eccentric, top eccentric inclined, side wall inclined push, bottom centre and so on. The difference between the centre of the tank and the side agitation is that: compared to the centre agitation the side agitation has a better mixing and shock effect, the top centre is easy to form concentric laminar flow and the top centre agitation is worse in terms of mixing effect. However, side stirring requires high dynamic balance for the tank design and production, and cannot be used for the mixing method which stirring paddle diameter closes to tank diameter, so side stirring is only suitable for medium speed stirring and low speed stirring production occasions, and the production process of the tank is more complex, the balance will also be poorer, so it is recommended to use the central mixing process when high speed mixing and blending equipment is required.
