Electric heating reactor is a common reaction equipment in chemical industry. It is mainly composed of kettle body, kettle cover, agitator, heating pipe, kettle body support, kettle body transmission device, kettle body shaft seal device, etc. Among them, the service life of the heating pipe of the reactor is generally about 1 year. If it is frequently damaged in just 3 or 4 months, it may be caused by the following reasons, which should be rectified after being found out in time.

1. Add water into the interlayer of the reactor. The heat transfer medium in the reactor jacket is often heat transfer oil. A small number of users blindly add domestic water without carefully reading the operation manual during use. The water has certain corrosivity. Although it will also meet the heating effect in the short term, it will be accompanied by the corrosion and fouling of water on the electric heating rod, which will damage the electric heating rod in the short term. In this case, replace the water with oil in time.

2. The length of electric heating pipe in the reactor does not meet the requirements. Under normal circumstances, after the electric heating pipe is installed in the heating jacket of the reactor, the high point of the electric heating pipe must be lower than the overflow port, that is, the electric heating pipe should be completely contained by the heating medium. If it is higher than the overflow port, the electric heating pipe will not transfer heat to the heat transfer medium in time and burn out.

3. Influence of heat transfer medium quality. The heat transfer medium is heat transfer oil. Good heat transfer oil and good electric heating tube have a service life of more than 1 year. On the contrary, if the reactor uses inferior heat transfer oil or the heat transfer oil contains water, the damage of the electric heating pipe will also be accelerated.

4. In addition, the wiring quality is also a factor affecting the use of electric heating rods.
