In production, the ribbon mixer may have some common failures during use. These common failures are mainly reflected in the motor's inability and overheat,the mixer has abnormal noise, the bearing is overheated, the reducer heats up, the hoist does not rotate or leaks. Next i am gonna teach you how to troubleshoot the common faults and solutions of the ribbon mixer.

1.motor's inability and overheat

The cause of the failure: the motor is running in two phases; the motor is short-circuited; long-term overload operation; the voltage is too low.

Solution: Stop the machine and check all the connections of the equipment; reduce the load; check whether the parts are loose; work again after the voltage is stable.

2.The mixer makes an abnormal sound

The cause of the failure: there is a foreign body in the machine; the chain is loose; a welding part of the rotor is broken.

Solution: remove foreign matter; adjust the chain to tighten or replace the chain; repair the rotor.

3.Bearing overheating

The causes of failure: too much or too little lubricating oil; bearing damage; belt too tight; long-term load operation; oil seal damage.

Solution: add oil according to regulations; replace proper bearings; adjust properly; work according to prescribed loads; replace new oil seals.

4. The hoist does not rotate or leaks

The causes of failure: overload, loose belts; foreign matter entangled in the hoisting machine body; damaged bearings; bad seals.

Solution: reduce the load, tighten the belt; pull out the auger to remove foreign objects; replace the bearing; replace the seal ring.

5. Reducer heating

The cause of the failure: lack of oil or damage to the internal parts of the machine

Solution: add oil to the specified position to repair or replace the reducer.

6. The reducer has no output

The cause of the failure: the motor is running normally, the reducer does not rotate, and the pin arrow at the connection has been severely worn.

Solution: Replace with new pins.
